Cookie Policy
Updated July 2026.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed in your browser by the site you are reading. Cookies allow the site to remember a preference you have set, for instance, that you have confirmed you are of age, or that you have accepted or rejected the setting of optional cookies, so that you are not asked again on every page.
The cookies we use
We keep the number of cookies on the site to the minimum required to run it. We use two categories.
Essential cookies
These are set by the site itself and are needed for the age confirmation and the cookie consent choice to be remembered. Without them, the age gate and the cookie banner would appear on every page you open. Essential cookies do not require your consent under Norwegian law. They are stored on your device for up to twelve months, or until you clear your browser storage for this site.
Optional analytics cookies
These are set only after you have chosen "Accept" in the cookie banner. They collect aggregated information about which pages are read and how the site performs, so that we can improve the writing and the layout. They do not identify you by name. If you choose "Reject", no analytics cookies are set. You may change your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site and reloading the page; the banner will appear again and you may choose afresh.
Third-party cookies
We do not embed advertising, video or social widgets from third-party services on the site, and we do not permit third-party cookies to be set through our pages.
Managing cookies in your browser
All modern browsers allow you to see the cookies stored on your device, to delete them individually or altogether, and to block cookies from a given site in the future. The instructions differ between browsers; please consult your browser's help pages for the current procedure.
